this just disgusts me, Casanova. To think that there are still people like this, with the 60s mentality, that just don't have a clue. I saw a special on Berkley the other day...about how the college town came to be and what it's like now. The people there talk about how open minded their town is and how diverse it is...I say bullshit. If you're not a liberal-ass freak, you're not welcome there. The professor you mention is the same way, think like he does or don't think for yourself.

In my comp. class this morning, we had a discussion comparing the results of communist experiments with democracy...My students, in discussing the concepts of "right" and "wrong," had concluded that morality is purely culturally relative, and when I asked what they thought about situations in which one culture's "morals" cause it to oppress its people or annihilate other peoples, the only response anyone came up with was: "Yeah...That's like what America does."
